This single was created to fill the gap between production and release of the new Baltic Sea record Period Piece. It is the first new material to be released by the band since 2008's Through Scenic Heights and Days Regrets, and hopefully gives a taste of things to come. The single contains 2 tracks from the full length, as well as some unused ambient/soundscape pieces that were created specifically for the vinyl edition of Period Piece. The single is limited to 100 individually numbered units on CD-R. Jackets are silkscreened and individually numbered 001-100. Each copy contains a unique code that can be redeemed for a free download of another bonus track entitled 'Before the Frost', which was recorded during the sessions for Through Scenic Heights but didn't make it onto the album. Additionally, each unique code can be used to register your email address into a raffle for a free test-press copy of Period Piece on vinyl.
